Technical Support Capabilities Statement
This list provides a description of the various technical support services and events provided by the Center, as well as technical support topics.
Brokering technical support (for trainings, local intermediaries)
- Consultant subcontracts for trainings, workshops, conferences, etc.
- Provide
recommendations on trainers and other presenters
- Provide information and
link to other technical support opportunities or resources (e.g., trainings,
individual technical support on a topic,
funding)
Individual technical support and coaching
- Various methods including site visits, telephone, e-mail, mail
- Individual
staff, subcommittees, collaboratives
- Problem solving, skill and capacity
building, providing content information, planning and strategizing
- On-site
training (e.g., sustainability, resource development)
- Facilitation of key
processes (e.g., creating decision-making structure, strategic planning,
community-based assessment, defining evaluation
questions, collaborative sustainability)
Peer learning
- Develop initiative-wide learning communities
- Encourage and provide venues
for sharing, capturing lessons learned, joint-problem-solving, celebration,
etc.
- Connect sites for peer learning (e.g., training, technical support,

Regional and statewide convenings
- Statewide Conferences - Up to 300 participants, keynotes, skills/issues
workshops, planning sessions, poster sessions/exhibits, etc.
- Statewide Workshops/Symposiums
- Up to 60 participants, keynotes, content/skill development, peer learning,
networking, internal and external presenters
- Regional/Cluster Workshops
- Up to 40 participants, content/skill focused (tools, techniques, etc.),
internal and external presenters
- Project Coordinators' Meetings - Up to
15 participants, support for key project staff, burnout prevention, peer
learning, sharing and support
in safe environment Orientations/Initiative Kick-Off Meetings - Up to
100 participants, orientation to initiative/program

- Provide information on Initiative design, logic model, key players, technical
support offerings and skill building in technology
