Aging Well in Communities: Aging Well Case Studies
Communities across the United States face both challenges and opportunities as the boomer generation ages. Here’s how seven communities found new ways to involve local government, nongovernmental agencies and service providers, nonprofit organizations, businesses, and other stakeholders in planning for aging well.
Together with their partners, these communities developed innovative transit options, intergenerational learning programs, and other creative solutions aimed at helping their residents age in place. The promising practices and lessons learned from their experience offer valuable insight and guidance to other communities embarking on aging well planning initiatives.
