This guide begins with an overview of the issue, followed by case studies of successful strategies, resource ideas and a reference list for further reading. This issue is not intended to be a primer on how to work with teens or how to implement tobacco prevention programs. It is intended to give voice to the impact that community-based tobacco prevention programs with a youth development emphasis have had on young people and their communities.
